Overview

The Char Dham Yatra from Kolkata is a spiritually enriching pilgrimage covering the four sacred Himalayan shrines – Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. This 14-day journey begins with a flight or train from Kolkata to Delhi, followed by road transfers to Haridwar/Rishikesh and onward to the Char Dham temples. The itinerary is designed for comfort and convenience, including deluxe accommodations, guided assistance, and VIP darshan facilities. Devotees will also experience the scenic beauty of the Garhwal Himalayas and the spiritual aura of Rishikesh and Haridwar.

Day 01 :

Kolkata – Delhi – Haridwar/Rishikesh

Take a flight/train from Kolkata to Delhi. Transfer to Haridwar or Rishikesh. Evening attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 02 :

Haridwar – Barkot (220 km / 8 hrs)

Drive to Barkot, the base for Yamunotri. Enjoy scenic stops including Mussoorie & Kempty Falls.

Day 03 :

Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Barkot

Morning drive to Janki Chatti, trek or take pony/doli to Yamunotri Temple. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund and perform puja. Return to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

Drive to Uttarkashi, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and explore local surroundings.

Day 05 :

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 km / 7 hrs round trip)

Drive to Gangotri Dham, take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple. Return to Uttarkashi.

Day 06 :

Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 km / 9 hrs)

Drive to Guptkashi through scenic valleys. Evening free for rest.

Day 07 :

Guptkashi – Kedarnath (By Helicopter / Pony / Doli)

Morning proceed to Kedarnath via helicopter (recommended) or trek/pony/doli for senior citizens. After VIP Darshan at Kedarnath Temple, return to Guptkashi or stay at Kedarnath (depending on arrangements).

Day 08 :

Kedarnath/Guptkashi – Guptkashi

Return from Kedarnath to Guptkashi. Evening free for rest and relaxation.

Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Evening Darshan at Badrinath Temple.

Morning visit Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Charan Paduka, Tapt Kund, and other nearby attractions.

Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 km / 6 hrs)

Drive to Rudraprayag, witnessing the confluence of Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers.

Drive to Rishikesh. Evening attend Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat.
