Overview

The Do Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage covering the two holy shrines of Yamunotri and Gangotri in Uttarakhand. This 6-day package is designed for devotees who wish to complete the spiritual journey of the two river origins with ease and comfort. The yatra begins from Haridwar/Rishikesh and takes you through scenic Himalayan valleys, serene rivers, and spiritual towns, ensuring a rejuvenating experience.

Day 01 :

Arrival at Haridwar / Rishikesh

Arrive at Haridwar/Rishikesh. Check into the hotel. In the evening, attend the divine Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

Day 02 :

Haridwar – Barkot (220 km / 8 hrs)

Drive through the scenic Himalayan route to Barkot, the base for Yamunotri. En route enjoy views of Mussoorie & Kempty Falls.

Day 03 :

Barkot – Yamunotri Darshan – Barkot

Early morning drive to Janki Chatti. Trek or take pony/doli to Yamunotri Temple. Take a holy dip in Surya Kund and offer prayers at the temple. Return to Barkot for overnight stay.

Day 04 :

Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

Drive to Uttarkashi, a serene town on the banks of Bhagirathi River. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and explore the local surroundings.

Day 05 :

Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 km round trip / 7 hrs)

Drive to Gangotri Dham, the source of the holy Ganga River. Take a sacred dip in the Bhagirathi River and offer prayers at Gangotri Temple. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.

Day 06 :

Uttarkashi – Haridwar / Rishikesh Departure (170 km / 6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar/Rishikesh for onward journey with divine blessings.
